"The best thing i've seen in years!"

Killer Joe

"Gritty and exhilarating I was on the edge of my seat through out the entire play!"

Killer Joe is the first play written by acclaimed playwright Tracy Letts. It is a Southern Gothic black comedy.

Joe, a contract killer is hired by the dissolute Smith family to kill the mother of the family for her insurance money, however being unable to pay the upfront fee, Joe takes the daughter of the family as a retainer against his final payoff which sets in motion a bloody aftermath as the "hit man" meets his match.

"Set in Dallas, Killer Joe revels in its white trash stereotypes, and gives you permission to do the same; it's pulp fiction which has it both ways, deriving humor from dirty realism. It's slick, it's well constructed, it knows exactly where it's going." - New York Daily News

"Well acted and directed, the detail was incredible, and the ending took me by surprise."

"There was action from beginning to end. There was never a dull moment! I saw it three times!"
